About The Marine Resource Committee

Our Mission Statement

The Pacific County Marine Resource Committee serves as a steward for the marine and estuarine resources in our county by facilitating science-based policies, research, and education that enhance the sustainability of the economy and ecology of our communities.

Pacific County Marine Resource Committee (PCMRC) is one of four Coastal County Marine Resource Committees in the state through the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. We receive grant funding to fund local projects that protect our county’s marine resources and contribute to a stronger, healthier coastal community. Through our decision making and project coordination we coordinate with diverse partners and organizations in order to support creative and action-oriented solutions. We strive to provide a platform for education and outreach on local the issues that we are facing together.
